The town is still in the process of litigation against Monsanto for costs to remove PCB-laden materials from T.P. School. Nina explained how the Town of Westport is dealing with the case against Monsanto regarding PCB contamination in caulking products used extensively in school construction/repairs. The court issued a summary judgement for Monsanto and Westport may appeal it to a First Circuit judge. Atty. Kevin McDonough is recommending filing a stay of the case.
Jon F. made a motion, and Edith seconded, to communicate to the attorney that Princeton wants to stay their case. With Rich B. abstaining, Jon F. and Edith M. both voted in favor.
8:55 PM Selectmen closed the executive session with Jon F. making a motion to adjourn, Edith M. seconded and in roll call vote they adjourned with Jon, Edith and Rich each saying “aye.”
Respectfully submitted, Marie Auger, admin. assist.
